MyFitness Galleria Riga to become the Largest Gym in Riga

This autumn, the expanded premises of MyFitness Galleria Riga are set to open. The gym will occupy the entire sixth floor of the shopping center, reaching a total area of 3,311 m² and becoming the largest fitness club in Riga. This expansion aims to promote accessibility to physical activity and enhance well-being in the very heart of the city.

MyFitness is expanding and renovating one of its most in-demand gyms in the capital – MyFitness Galleria Riga. Once completed, the club will span the entire sixth floor of the shopping center, offering 3,311 m² of modern fitness space. This expansion is not only a major step in terms of infrastructure, but also a significant investment in the urban environment, where demand for high-quality and accessible physical activity opportunities continues to grow. It also responds to global health and wellness trends that emphasize the importance of movement and balanced activity, including in the context of mental health.

“Research shows that physical activity and regular exercise are essential pillars of a quality life – not just for improving physical fitness, but also for supporting emotional well-being and mental resilience. Regular movement helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and enhance overall quality of life. This expansion is not just about more square meters – this expansion is not just about adding more square meters – it's about creating a space where people can take care of themselves through a full-spectrum approach," emphasizes Inna Alne, Head of MyFitness Latvia.

MyFitness Galleria Riga is already one of the most visited gyms in the city, demonstrating that movement is becoming a natural part of daily life – with visitors working out in the early morning, during lunch breaks, and after work.

“We want to be where people need and want to move – in the city center, along their daily routes, at times when it’s most convenient. With this expansion, we’re not just increasing in size – we’re improving quality and accessibility,” adds Inna Alne.

“MyFitness has been an integral part of Galleria Riga for many years, and its expansion is a logical and significant next step. The very successful MyFitness in Galleria Riga is expanding for the third time to meet consumer demand and to introduce new forms of training — continuing not only to be the biggest, but also the best and most attractive gym and wellness destination in Latvia. This development phase is a clear statement of the strategic role and long-term vision of our shopping center in the heart of Riga, and it will strengthen our ability to meet the increasing needs of our visitors by integrating health care into their daily lifestyle,” says Zane Šulca, Manager of Galleria Riga.
